Notice is hereby given by the City of Port Alberni (CPA) of its intent to contract with Sol by Sunna Design for the purchase of Solar Street Lights to provide an exact match with existing lighting for the Connect the Quays Pathway. Vendor: Sol by Sunna Design Goods provided: To Purchase and Deliver: • 66 Solar Street Lights with fixtures and motion sensors Value: The value of the contract to be awarded is expected to be $279,595.80 for fixtures, poles and shipping and exclusive of applicable taxes and brokerage fees Rationale: The expansion of the Connect the Quays pathway in the City of Port Alberni requires additional solar street lights that will be identical to the existing pathway lighting and its functionality. The City of Port Alberni believes this is the only vendor that can supply these specific fixtures that meet the criteria listed below.
