Description:
The Corporation of the Municipality of Leamington requires the Services of an Engineering Consultant firm, with expertise in municipal road, sewer and construction administration, to provide professional and technical services to complete the detailed design and associated engineering services (detailed design, tender document preparation, contract administration and site inspection services for the North East Trunk Sanitary Sewer - Segments 1-3 (Seacliff Drive East to Mersea Road 4) Project. See the attached map in Schedule A.
As part of the Municipality-s ongoing servicing strategy, the expansion of the sanitary sewer servicing area was addressed by the completion of the Northeast Sanitary Trunk Sewer Municipal Class Environmental Assessment. The EA was completed in accordance with the Schedule B planning process as outlined in the Municipal Engineers Association (MEA) Municipal Class EA document. The study addressed the need to expand the existing urban area sanitary sewer service area. The necessity of the expansion of the sanitary sewer service area was to accommodate current and future approved planned growth to the north, northwest and east of the current sanitary service area of the Municipality. The service area boundary for the EA study generally followed the Official Plan (OP) existing service area. The study area was sized to accommodate future 20 year growth, as well as accommodate existing residential, industrial uses and greenhouse operations.
