- ENMAX Power Corporation (“ENMAX”) received approval to begin planning and procurement efforts for the design, construction, and commissioning of a new Integrated System Operations Center (ISOC) facility in Calgary, Alberta.Currently, ENMAX-s power transmission and distribution networks (Network) are managed through a Primary Control Center (PCC). The ENMAX Primary Control Center (PCC) is essential for the ongoing operation, maintenance, and management of ENMAX ‘s distribution and transmission networks.The PCC provides 24/7 support to ENMAX and its customers in the following capacities: • Monitoring of network integrity 24/7 - Transmission and Distribution Power Networks • Distribution switching and control for ongoing operations and maintenance • Emergency preparedness and response• Fall back services through the Back Up Control Center (BUCC) The new ISOC facility is expected to support the following technology attributes and requirements:1. Information Technology (IT) / Operational Technology (OT) and Cyber Security capabilities comprised of Real-time and Support Applications, Servers, VM clusters, Networks, Cybersecurity zones, End User computing, telecom equipment.2.
