Detailed_Description : RFP for the provision of subscription services Supplier for Journals, e-Books and Electronic Database Access for the MNR Library which include but not be limited to environmental sciences, life sciences, and public policy.
Scope of Work : •The Ministry requires subscription services for journals in print (where available) and online formats and electronic databases with linked full text to subscribed titles for a four year period. For the Subscription List of journal titles [see Appendix A]. The Subscription List is the list of titles Ministry currently subscribes to but may be subject to change over the term of the Agreement. Databases should focus on subject areas which include but not be limited to environmental sciences, life sciences, and public policy and link to full-text of subscribed journal titles. Purchasing and access to e-book titles should include a Digital Rights Management solution.• Scientists, policy analysts and other Ministry staff rely on access to journals databases and e-books for relevant and authoritative information to make effective decisions in managing Ontario-s natural resources• Current Contract for subscription services expires on December 31, 2024 and a new Contract from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2028 will need to be in place
