Application Systems Development & Integration

Summary Details:
The Ministry of Public Safety & Solicitor General, BC Coroners Services is intending to direct award a General Service Agreement for the following proposed work/service:
- The development and addition of a mobile application to an existing case management system that was previously built for Coroners Services Branch.
The proposed work/service is to be carried out by FCI Accelerated Solutions Inc. (FCI) at a maximum potential contract value of $133,696.65 if all options to renew are exercised.
The anticipated term of the contract is from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2026, with two (2), two (2) year options to renew (Annual subscription fees included).
The Ministry of Public Safety & Solicitor General has chosen not to compete the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
1. FCI was the successful proponent for building the BC Coroners Service case management system (CCMS) delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution using iTrac IMS technology.
2. FCI has built the CCMS New Case Entry screens and mobile friendly functionality that will form the basis for the mobile application (Photo APP and offline New Case Entry).
3. FCI also delivers a similar case management solution to the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, making them an expert on Coroner case management system requirements.
