Description : ssued: November 12, 2021 File # PHSA 03999 NOI Title: IABP - Teleflex 2021 Provincial Health Services Authority Notice is hereby given that FRASER HEALTH AUTHORITY, VANCOUVER ISLAND HEALTH (the "Health Authorities"), through their collective agent Provincial Health Services Authority ("PHSA"), intends to directly award a non-volume committed Contract to the following supplier to provide the supply of intra-aortic balloon pump catheters for a term of three (3) years at an estimated value of $405,000 CAD. Teleflex Medical Canada Inc. 500 Hood Road, Unit 310 Markham, ON, L3R 9Z3 PHSA, as agent for the Health Authorities has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason: · the goods are proprietary and can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists. To ensure the continued supply of these essential products to the Health Authorities with stable pricing, we will direct award the above non-volume committed contract until PHSA determines that there are additional suppliers in the market that can supply functionally equivalent goods.
