  • Description:
  • The City of Nanaimo has been informally managing Canada geese since 1999. In 2016, due to increased conflicts related to negative interactions betweenCanada geese and people (e.g., fouling of sports fields, beaches, cemeteries; physical interactions/aggressiveness of geese; grazing of public and private properties) the City of Nanaimo increased 1) its effort to study andunderstand the abundance, distribution and residence time of Canada geese in Nanaimo, and 2) its intensity of population management of geese. As partof the intensification of effort to control goose population growth, the City hired EBB Consulting to assist and advise the Canada goose addling program. EBB has been an integral part of the design, implementation and effectiveness of the City-s addling program. This Notice of Intent is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, Canadian Free Trade Agreement - Chapter 5, and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) - Chapter 19.an style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"BC Bid- Documents areavailable on the City of Nanaimo bids&tenders website by copying and pasting the following hyperlink: https://nanaimo.bidsandtenders.ca/Module/Tenders/en/Tender/Detail/7aa7d32d-9409-4fed-a831-10bf037576e2Note that it is the responsibility of the proponent to ensure they monitorthe City of Nanaimo bids&tenders website for any questions and answersand addendums to this RFP document issued up to and including the Established Closing Date and Time. This oppor...
