Description : Notice is hereby given that British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. (“BC Ferries”) is direct awarding Kongsberg Digital Simulation Ltd. a contract to supply a High Voltage Breaker with Interface to Simulator. Kongsberg Digital Simulation Ltd. will include the following:  Stations for instructor and operator, High Voltage Breaker with interface to operating station, touch monitor with computer and sound system, Software, documentation, quality management, packing and shipment, travel and living, installation, site acceptance test, training and warranty. CONTRACT DETAILS & TERM:  The contract has an estimated value of $175,000.  Delivery is to be made by March 31, 2024. The goods can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reasons:  Kongsberg is the only supplier who can provide a Transport Canada approved marine high voltage simulator. If vendors wish to contest this decision, they are required to submit a written objection to Coralie Wong, Purchasing Agent, via email no later than 2:00:00 P.M. Pacific Time on October 27, 2023.
