Notice is hereby given that British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. (“BC Ferries”) is contemplating to award the following contract to the ifm efector Canada Inc. to provide the following: • to supply vibration, oil, humidity and speed sensors for the two gearboxes on each of the 5 C-Class Vessels and update to the latest version of the monitoring software. CONTRACT TERM & ESTIMATED CONTRACT VALUE: a) The initial term of this contemplated contract is expected to start July 15, 2024, until February 28th, 2025. b) The estimated spend under this NOI is $500,000.00 US Dollars. c) Contract award is subject to successful negotiations with the Suppliers. Unsuccessful negotiations may result in BC Ferries taking a different approach, including tendering or awarding the requirement(s) as BC Ferries determines would be in the best interests of the public and BC Ferries. d) Unless business requirement changes, the intention after the initial term is to continue using such software and services from ifm efector Canada Inc. Any Challenge objecting to the NOI is required to be in English and sent to the Official Contact in writing or such Challenge will not be considered. Challenges to the NOI should be received by the Official Contact before the Closing Date and Time.
