- The North Grenville Fire Service, on behalf of the Municipality of North Grenville, is seeking sealed tenders from qualified vendors for the supply and delivery of one (1) new Special Service Vehicle (SUV) for municipal emergency service operations.The vehicle will be utilized as a command, response, and support vehicle for the fire department. It will be used to transport firefighters, emergency response equipment, and operational supplies for emergency incidents, inspections, training activities, and other fire service operations throughout the municipality and surrounding areas.The vehicle must be suitable for year-round municipal service, including winter operations, gravel roads, and rural response conditions. The unit must also support the installation of emergency lighting, communications equipment, and other command support equipment typically used by emergency services.The vehicle shall be model year 2026 or newer, equipped with four-wheel drive and powered by a gasoline engine suitable for emergency service fleet operations. The vehicle shall include a heavy-duty electrical system, modern safety features, and factory-installed equipment appropriate for municipal service.The vehicle shall be supplied in accordance with the requirements outlined in the attached specification (Appendix “A” - Vehicle Specifications and Compliance).
