Description:
Scope: An updated Housing Needs Assessment (HNA) is required by the Municipality of North Grenville that collects data and analyzes trends in order to assess the current and anticipated housing needs of North Grenville. Housing Needs Assessments (HNAs) are to follow provincial reporting guidelines and include past data, current data, and/or projections related to housing and local socioeconomic and demographic conditions. The HNA provides a summary of current and future housing needs for the Municipality of North Grenville based on a review of relevant local, provincial, and federal data. It is important to note that this study provides a potential picture of the current housing situation across the Municipality and estimates how this may evolve over the next five years, and it may include recommendations on how to address local housing needs. The study supports conversations about housing need, and provides decision-makers, planners, community members, service providers, businesses, and housing developers with the information they need to undertake meaningful future housing work across the municipality.
