REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The City of Surrey (the “City”) invites Proposals from experienced and qualified Proponents for the provision of everything required including all skilled labour, tools, materials, equipment to demolition, removal, recycling, disposal and replacement (the “Work”) of two (2) synthetic turf fields #2 and #6 at Newton Athletic Park. The project is to be completed by August 2025, along with any other requirements as further outlined in Schedule A.

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

Newton Athletic Park Field #2 and #6:
• Demolition, removal, re-use, recycling or offsite disposition of the existing synthetic turf and infill;
• Infiltration testing of the existing base gravel;
• Base repair (as required) and grade adjustment to accommodate the new turf system and pad;
• Supply and installation of a new shock pad;
• Supply and installation of new synthetic turf;
• Reuse of the existing infill in the new turf system, including adding new infill material as required; and,
• Other miscellaneous work as required for successful completion of the project.
