Description : The following scope of construction will be available for bidding by the prequalified General Contractors: New Water Treatment Plant and dual GUDI well supply system with Wells supply pumps with VFDs and well upgrades MD80 Filters and permanganate feed for iron reduction Harmsco Cartridge Filters for cyst reduction Granular Activated Carbon Filters for organics reduction UV Reactors for cyst reduction Chlorine injection and contact pipe for final disinfection Two glass-lined steel bolted at-grade potable water storage tanks High lift pumps with pressure tanks including backwash pipe connection to distribution system Trim chlorine feed system Exterior diesel fueled back-up power generator Onsite sewage system and onsite sedimentation tank Instrumentation and control system including PLC/SCADA Radio communication to the existing Distribution Centre New single phase 240 volt power supply Site works and perimeter fence Upgrades to the existing Distribution Centre including: Two new High Capacity Pumps for fire flows and filter backwash, and two new high lift pumps New trim chlorine feed system and new Chlorine Room Retrofit to existing office with installation of VFDs for high capacity pumps, PLC and HMI with new radio communica...
