BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Region is inviting Bids from qualified contractors to provide goods and services with respect to the Work. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new equipment shelter building at 3525 Baseline Road, Georgina, Ontario. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Any bids received from bidders who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $40,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. The Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Estimated Contract Price.
