Description:
The RM of Wellington is looking for quotes on the below project. Excavation of a new approx.116ft wide by 425ft long by 25ft deep dugout near Cedoux Install 2 intake lines 2” to center of dugout to a 36in cribbing. Install a 36 in cribbing with tank load/fill station. Cribbing to be placed below the bottom of the dugout. Cribbing will need a sealed top. The RM has a 36in by 36 ft steel pipe that can be used for the cribbing. The RM has a new 2 HP pump to go inside of cribbing. Dugout spoil pile can be left onsite but would like topsoil and clay separated. Build up road access at fill station with a turnabout to ensure proper access. Council is open to suggestions on the cribbing install. Please include pricing in quote. The hope is that this could be completed before spring run-off but, due to timelines, could also be pushed for summer construction. To note: The build location is along an old railbed with a rail sidings at the site. There is a current water run and we do not want that blocked by the spoil pile. Any necessary culverts will be supplied by the RM.
