Description : NPWT is a mechanical wound care treatment that uses controlled negative pressure to promote or assist wound healing. NPWT supports wound healing by evacuating wound fluids, stimulating granulation tissue formation, reducing bacterial burden of a wound, and maintaining a moist wound environment. The purpose of this therapy is to provide Clients with an acute or chronic wound with an alternative, community-based NPWT treatment based on a wound assessment and eligibility criteria. OH is issuing this RFB for the following Categories of NPWT products and services: 1. Category 1- Bids for the sale of new, reusable NPWT Units to HCCSS. The Provider(s) must also supply NPWT Supplies as outlined in the Appendix C.5 Pricing Form and must stock, pick, pack and deliver to Service Delivery Locations as identified by HCCSS. In addition, the Provider(s) must retrieve NPWT Units, maintain NPWT Units (including repairing and providing spare parts), and clean and prepare NPWT Units for re-deployment. 2. Category 2- Bids for rent-to-own, reusable NPWT Units, involving the renting of NPWT Units to HCCSS, with terms that provide for eventual ownership of those units by HCCSS. T...
