Description:
The Canadian Red Cross (“CRC”) is soliciting information from industry so that it may select one or more service provider(s) for National Security Services. CRC is looking at putting in a three (3) year term agreement with the Successful Bidder(s) with the option to extend for two (2) consecutive one (1) year periods.The objective of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to locate a source that will provide the best overall value to CRC. While price is a significant factor, other criteria will form the basis of the award decision, as more fully described in the Evaluation Criteria, below.As set out in more detail below, this RFP seeks the following information: Respondent capabilities. Cost information for services and cost containment/reduction strategies. Ideas and suggestions to optimize the customer service experience.The CRC has a mandate to provide neutral and impartial humanitarian assistance. In Canada, as auxiliaries to the public authorities, CRC has a history of working in complementarity to government authorities, and communities, including Indigenous peoples, across Canada, in responding to humanitarian emergencies including large-scale emergency response operations.
