Description : The Planning and Inspections Department and the and Engineering and Public Works Department of the Municipality of the County of Kings (“Municipality”) are jointly seeking replacement documents to two municipal documents, the Subdivision By-law and the Municipal Specifications Manual. The proponent will do a jurisdictional scan of other Municipal units for best practices and conduct interviews with staff to ensure desired outcomes are met within the new documents. The Municipality has a newly approved Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law to which these documents must be consistent with. The Subdivision By-law requires a public consultation process for adoption as outlined by the Municipal Government Act and the Municipality-s Planning Policies.
