- The Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities (NSFM) has received funding from the Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Climate Change to establish a program to provide municipalities with support for 1. Education, awareness and tools in support of adoption of example text for planning strategies and bylaws 2. Adopting example text into municipal planning strategies and bylaws 3. Implementation and Public Communication NSFM is requesting proposals from proponents to be entered on a standing offer list of qualified proponents to provide assistance in implementing example land use by-laws developed by the province and community engagement support for municipalities based on statements of work provided by the municipalities and NSFM.
