Tender are invited for MULTIPLE COLLECTOR INDUCTIVELY COUPLED MASS SPECTROMETER (MC-ICP-MS)
Project Description : Interested Proponents must access all RFP documents posted on MERX and submit bid response via MERX The University of Calgary (UCalgary) is requesting proposals for a Multiple Collector Inductively Coupled Mass Spectrometer (MC-ICP-MS). The MC-ICP-MS System must consist of, but not be limited to, the following major components, complete with all software, hardware, peripherals and interfacing necessary to make a fully integrated system, including a computer system and software, a data processing system, a liquid introduction system (autosampler, nebulizer, spray chamber and torch), an ICP ion source, and ICP-MS interface, ion and energy focusing, mass analyzer, a multiple detector, a vacuum system, a water chiller, all connections to the instrument, system implementation and training, service and support, system performance specifications. All equipment must be NEW. Demo models, used, refurbished or prototype models will not be acceptable. Proponents must state in proposal system is new. The system will be used for high precision measurements of the isotopic composition of lead as part of CFI funded research. The intention of the RFP is to award to a Proponent who submits a proposal which, in the sole opinion of UCalgary represents the best overall functionality and value.
