Description:
Detailed_Description : RFI for the purposes of obtaining information on the range of products and services currently available in the marketplace to support municipalities with their assessment base management.Assessment base management is a set of practices that aim to ensure accuracy and completeness of a municipality-s property assessment base and support fairness in property taxation by identifying opportunities to correct assessed property values and property tax classifications.
Scope of Work : Information is being sought about the marketplace with regard to the availability of modernized administration tools to support municipal assessment base management. Respondents are asked to provide information on their products and/or services to support municipal assessment base management. Examples may include, but are not limited to, the following:•Property assessment data and related analytics tools, including dashboards and other reporting tools;•Real estate sales data, rental data, and related analytics tools;•Mapping (overlaying such criteria as property assessment, zoning, land use, and/or sales transactions); and/or•Workflow tools such as appeal tracking.Respondents are also asked:•What specific benefits these products and/or services provide to municipalities;•Estimated cost structure;•Time required to develop customize, or implement the products and/or services; and •Whether it would be preferable to provide the products and/or services in a centralized coordinated manner or through a municipal-specific approach.
