• Description:
• The Toronto District School Board intends to secure a Contract(s) with qualified Bidder(s) for Miscellaneous & Emergency Electrical Repairs at various TDSB sites as required for the period and in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined below:
  The successful bidder(s) will be required to enter into a contract which will be effective for a Two (2) year firm price period. If Bidder cannot quote firm prices for the contract period, Bidder must state clearly in their submission the basis on which prices are submitted.
  The Board reserves the right, at the sole discretion of the Board, to exercise an option to extend for Two (2) additional One (1) year periods at pricing agreed to by both parties. The terms and conditions of the extension option would remain the same as for the initial contract period.
  EVALUATION METHODOLOGY/CRITERIA
  Each submission will be evaluated as follows:
  Price - 80 pointsTechnical Experience with Institutional Facilities - 10 pointsResponse Time & Availability - 10 pointsCriteria Details:
  Technical Experience with Institutional Facilities - 10 points
  Experience with large, older school buildings (50+ years old).Ability to work with legacy electrical infrastructure, breakers, switchgear, and panel boards.Experience with fire alarm interface, emergency power, generators, and lighting systems.Work experience with school boards, municipalities, colleges, or community centres.Demonstrated compliance record and low ESA deficiency rate.Response Time & Availability - 10 points
  Guaranteed emergency response time (e.g., Staffing levels and count of service vehicles.Ability to support 24/7 emergency work for school infrastructure.Availability of parts, tools, and electricians during peak school hours.You need to have a single point of contact. The Bidder must respond to TDSB within ten (10) minutes of initial notification.
