- 1.2.1This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. It is intended to result in the award of multiple contracts from contract award to March 31, 2026.
AAFC is requesting proposals for the conduct of field trials at various locations in North America to generate efficacy and crop tolerance data and crop samples for the laboratory analysis of pesticide residues and to screen pesticides for the control of pests and diseases for which effective control is unknown. The data generated by these trials will be used in regulatory submissions to the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) for new minor uses of pesticides. The residue trials must be conducted in accordance with OECD Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards or U.S.A. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) GLP and GLP study plans. Field trials for efficacy and crop tolerance must meet the appropriate policies and data requirements of the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), particularly DIR2013-03, Value Assessment of Pest Control Products http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/cps-spc/pubs/pest/_pol-guide/dir2013-03/index-en… and Value Guidelines for New Plant Protection Products and Label Amendments, http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/cps-spc/pubs/pest/_pol-guide/value-guide-valeur/…).
