- The City of New Westminster (“the City”) is seeking the services of a qualified architect, urban designer, or team of professionals with similar qualifications to deliver new guidelines for Development Permit Areas in the Official Community Plan (OCP). This work is in response to Provincial Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Areas legislation, as well as recent neighbourhood scale visioning completed by the City. The project goal is three to five sets of development permit guidelines which address the following:
• Residential Mid-Rise (7 to 8 storeys)
• Mixed-Use Mid-Rise (7 to 8 storeys)
• Residential Mid-Rise (9 to 12 storeys)
• Mixed-Use Mid-Rise (9 to 12 storeys)
