Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Loyalist Township (the “Township”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Membrane Tank Recoat at Bath Water Treatment Plant (BWTP) as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The project includes the removal of the existing epoxy coating and application of a new coating on the aluminum membrane filtration tanks. The new coating must be suitable for use in a water treatment facility and be able to withstand the use of cleaning and disinfectant chemicals and be resistant to physical wear with the movement of treatment equipment in and out of the tanks. The water treatment plant will remain operational during the recoating process, and all work must be conducted in a manner that ensures uninterrupted plant operations and compliance with the SDWA and its regulations, OWRA, the MDWL and DWWP.
