Description:
The City of New Westminster is renewing Megan-s Place Playground in Ryall Park, located in the Queensborough neighbourhood. The majority of the existing play features are approaching end of their service life and, will require replacement. The City is seeking a qualified General Contractor experienced in:
landscapingskilled carpentryplay equipment and play surface installationsconcrete and asphalt installationsThe project involves the:
removal of existing equipment, footings and play surfacing upgrade of existing subsurface drainage to suit new designremoval, regrading and reinstall of select areas of asphalt pavingsupply and install of new play equipment; and reinstallation of existingsupply and install of playground safety surface supply and install of timber boardwalk, arches and retaining wallsupply and install of plant material, irrigation, flagstone stepping stones and landscape boulderssupply and install of concrete curbs and concrete foundationssupply and install of construction fencing at perimeter and as tree protection fencing, as required by City arborist
