- Description:
- The City of Lethbridge intends to enter into a contract with a reputable testing company to perform testing on city owned high voltage cables during a three-week period in September of 2023. This testing period has been determined based on operational capabilities and resources of the City of Lethbridge Electrical Department to isolate cables necessary for testing. The testing methodology used shall be VLF Tan Delta with partial discharge and shall conform to IEEE standard numbers 400.2-2013 and 400.3. Testing will be performed solely by the testing company providing all necessary equipment and resources required. The City of Lethbridge Electrical Department will provide the operational resources necessary to isolate the cables prior to testing.
