The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to perform preventive maintenance on refrigerators and freezers used to store medications in the Health Centres for all CSC institutions in the Quebec Region.
Objectives: Provide maintenance of medical refrigerators and freezers so that they meet Accreditation Canada standards and manufacturer's recommendations in order to ensure that the medications are stored at the right temperature and to extend the life of the refrigerators and freezers as a result by performing preventive maintenance on them.
