- The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to engage the services of a radiologist, who will act as the Medical Director, Diagnostic Imaging to review, oversee and offer support to imaging staff in relation to patient care within the Ontario Region.
Objectives: The contractor must assist CSC staff by providing guidance, advice, and clinical oversight of diagnostic services to continually improve the quality of the services provided and safeguard high standards of care through an environment that promotes clinical excellence.
Deliverables The contractor must:
a) Provide up to 8 hours a month of consultation services for staff and management;
b) Attend Diagnostic Imaging Review Committee Meetings once every three months. Each meeting is 1 hour in duration;
c) Produce reports for the project authority:
o Yearly summary report identifying and summarizing the CSC Ontario Diagnostic Imaging strengths and areas for improvement related to service needs. This would include a review of available diagnostic imaging data collected by the sites as part of the diagnostic imaging program, a review of minutes from the Diagnostic Imaging Review Committee Meetings, and a review of Accreditation Canada requirements.
d) Facilitate a minimum of one (1) staff education session on diagnostic imaging per year;
e) Provide one initial in-person visit to the Institutions in the Kingston Ontario to see diagnostic imaging equipment and suite. Up to 16 hours total for the re... - Documents:
