Summary Details:
Notice is hereby given that Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) intends to proceed with the direct award of the above noted contract to Elizabeth Clough.
The Ministry currently maintains a contractual agreement with Elizabeth Clough with a term end date of June 30, 2021.
Through the delivery of the Services the Province wishes to realize the following outcomes and the Contractor must commercially reasonable efforts to achieve them:
- Children and youth with severe disabilities/complex health care needs, and children in care, will receive appropriate, basic, medically essential biomedical equipment and supplies from the Medical Benefits Program; and
- Medical Benefits staff will have access to the appropriate consulting health professionals to make clinical recommendations regarding provision of benefits.
The Contractor must provide the following:
- Provide recommendations to Specialized Provincial Services (Medical Benefits Program) staff regarding requests for biomedical equipment and supplies.
- Provide consultation with health professionals requesting biomedical equipment and supplies from Specialized Provincial Services (Medical Benefits Program) staff.
