• Description:
• The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the “City”) invites bids from qualified bidders in response to this Request for Proposal (NRFP) for a Media and Market Intelligence solution. The City is seeking a cloud-based solution that provides media monitoring and market/consumer intelligence services for its Strategic Communications and Initiatives Division, that is capable of meeting its business and operational needs for an initial term of up to five (5) years with an option to extend the agreement for up to an additional five (5) year term.
  This procurement is intended to implement a system in which City Staff will use this platform solution to perform proactive media monitoring, research, analysis, insight generation, information-sharing, and reporting on topics, issues and audiences related to the City of Mississauga. While the City does not require a social media management tool/platform at this time, the ability to monitor news media coverage through various online channels is required. The City is interested in adopting a solution with the flexibility and capability to integrate these functions into a single cloud-based platform within approximately the next two (2) years, if needed by the City.
  The City is also looking for a solution that provides artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, and that is adaptable and scalable further over time to meet the evolving needs of the City.
  The City's Strategic Communications and Initiatives Division will be the primary user of this cloud-based platform solution. The Division plays a key role in shaping public perception and enhancing community engagement within Mississauga.
