Tender are invited for Meadow Crescent Flood Mitigation Berm

Notice Details The work generally consists of erosion and sediment control, 15,760 m3 of excavation, 216 m of new storm sewer with structures, 215 m of subdrain with structures, importing 12,040 m3 of borrow fill and 3,255 m3 of low-permeability fill for berm construction, 2,150 tonnes of riprap, 3,990 m3 of granular material for access road construction, landscaping and site restoration.

The tender box will be located at 524 Main Street, Sussex, NB until 02:00:00 pm local time on August 14th, 2025, at which location a public opening will be held immediately following tender closing.

Every Contractor submitting a tender for this project must be thoroughly familiar with the tendering procedures according to the General Regulations and amendments thereto, a Regulation under the Crown Construction Act.

Documents can be picked up at the office of GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Limited located at 124 Greenview Drive, Hanwell, NB or at the Municipality Office located at 524 Main Street, Sussex, NB.

A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the tendered amount made payable to the Municipality of Sussex must accompany the tender.
