- The Province is contemplating a direct award with the Supplier for the following reasons: Bernard K. Schroder is species expert and has significant expertise in conducting radar population surveys. Mr. Schroeder has specialized knowledge of Marbled Murrelet radar monitoring stations required to complete the monitoring plan.
The intent of this contract is to determine appropriate sampling designs required to monitor population trends coast-wide and for each of six BC Conservation Regions (excluding the Alaska Border Region) according to the objectives of the BC Implementation Plan for the Marbled Murrelet (2018). The development of a year-by-year monitoring plan for years 2025-2032. The development of the monitoring plan requires specialized knowledge of Marbled Murrelet radar sampling stations to determine efficiencies in the sampling design. - Documents:
