Synopsis: This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by Canadian Light Source Inc.(“CLSI”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Manufacture, Delivery, and On-Site Setup of a CdTe Area Detector for Brockhouse WHE Beamline, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The Canadian Light Source is a national facility located at the University of Saskatchewan campus in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. This facility is a third-generation synchrotron light source that produces a high intensity source of infrared, visible, ultraviolet, and x-ray radiation. This detector will be used at the WHE beamline (20-95 keV) of the Brockhouse sector for diffraction experiments, including but not limited to powder diffraction and pair distribution function measurements.
