Tender are invited for Manning Provincial Grazing Reserve - Fence Removal and Replacement
Project Description : The Battle Complex fire burned approximately 6.5 miles of perimeter fence of the Manning Provincial Grazing Reserve (PGR) in Northwest Alberta in June 2019. The burnt trees along the fenceline were cleared and piled during summer 2020. The damaged fence now needs to be removed and replaced with new fence. The work schedule will be managed between the PGR Agrologist from the local field office and the service provider. Project Objectives: Construction of new fence will allow cattle to be grazed on the PGR. Fencing is to be completed by early November so that the PGR will be ready for a full allotment of livestock in spring 2021.Maps of damaged fence line (approximately 6.2 miles) and fence line to be replaced (approximately 6.7 miles) in length.
