Description:
This is an advanced Notice indicating to the supplier community that UW intends to award a contract for services to a pre-identified supplier. If no other supplier submits, on or before the closing date of this notice, a challenge with a suitable plan for an alternate approach, the competitiverequirements of the University are considered to have been met. The FINCAPES project has launched the Nature-based Solutions Collaborative Studies Program (NbSCSP) to catalyse collaborative studies to help develop or improve NbS approaches and practices to sustainably help protect and restore criticalpeatland and mangrove ecosystems and preserve biodiversity in targeted locations. These efforts will support and help accelerate Indonesia's efforts to sustainably adapt to negative climate change impacts such as coastal erosion, flooding, and ecosystem degradation, while simultaneously supportingclimate change mitigation efforts by helping to protect and enhance carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas sequestration in peatland and mangrove ecosystems.
