- The Makkovik Inuit Community Government (MICG) is undertaking the design of a new municipal pumphouse to replace its aging existing facility. The existing pumphouse has reached the end of its serviceable life and is no longer compliant with modern safety, operational, or code standards. It suffers from significant space constraints, mechanical and electrical issues, poor ventilation, confined space hazards, and inadequate chlorine storage and handling facilities. The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to retain a qualified engineering consultant to carry out the detailed design, cost estimating, and preparation of tender documents for the new facility, as well as provide tendering support and construction phase services.
