Project Description : 1. This RFP is open to all interested vendors2. The City of Calgary (“The City”) requires an authorized Original Equipment Manufacturer (“OEM”) Supplier capable of performing Maintenance and Repair services on City owned Caterpillar (“CAT”) branded equipment (“Units”) that operate throughout The City.3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.4. The City intends to enter into one (1) Agreement for the provision of the Deliverables. The Agreement(s) will be for a term of one (1) year. The Agreement may be renewed for two (2) additional two (2) years terms, not to exceed a maximum of five (5) years.
