Description : The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), on behalf of the Departments of: Digital Government and Service NL(DGSNL), Education(EDU), Health and Community Services(HCS) and Justice and Public Safety(JPS), is seeking Responses from organizations with solutions to move systems from a mainframe COBOL, JCL, IDMS, ADSO environment to a server-based platform (Windows or Linux) such as .Net, Oracle or Microsoft (MS) SQL Server or other which is supported by the OCIO and residing on a supportable, modern application framework. Proposals that offer other approaches to modernize four systems and to introduce efficiencies while ensuring a secure and stable platform will also be considered. The four systems are: Motor Registration Division (MRD), Student Aid Management System (SAMS), Medical Care Plan (MCP) and Ticket Management System (TMS).
