Description:
This RFP applies to and governs the preparation of Proposals for the Contract listed above. The Contract is generally for the construction of the Main Village to East Subdivision Multi-Use Pathway project in the approximate quantities as below:
1.500 sq.m of clearing, grubbing, stripping16.500 sq.m of organics stripping and stockpile on side for reuse3,300 cu.m of on-site cut to fill10,650 sq. m of subgrade grading and compactionSupply & place base gravels - 150 mm depth of 19mm minus crushed gravel Supply & install signageHydroseedingStormwater Management - culvert extensions & culvert installation
The Owner has a total project budget of $600,000 and is asking Proponents to identify what portion of the above scope, if not all, may be completed within this budget. The scope of work to be considered the “Base Proposal” is summarized in Section 1.7 Scope of Work of this RFP. In addition to responding to the Base Proposal, the Proponent is invited to propose any innovations and value-added works that the Proponent believes will reduce the overall cost and improve constructability of the Project. The intent is for the Proponent to use their knowledge of construction practices to improve the Project by reducing the overall Project cost, providing added value, or shortening the construction time frame.
