This Request for Proposal - Lynwood Charlton Centre Organizational Review - is an invitation from Lynwood Charlton Centre (LCC) to prospective proponents to prepare and submit a competitive proposal for the provision of an organizational review as further described in Schedule A Scope of Work.
LCC is a publicly funded, charitable organization in the City of Hamilton. We provide a spectrum of innovative and evidence-informed, mental health services for children and youth. These include live-in treatment, day treatment, and in-home, and community-based services, including both specialized counselling programs. The Centre is funded by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS). LCC is licensed by the MCCSS and accredited by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation.
In August 2014, LCC was designated by the MCCSS as the Lead Agency for child and youth mental health in Hamilton. With programs and services that run out of 5 sites, LCC is committed to providing inclusive, client-centered and family-centered care. LCC has continued to grow and expand mental health services. As of January 1, 2024, LCC is now the single point of access for MOH funded child and youth mental health services in Hamilton. Additionally, LCC assumed responsibility for the former Woodview Day Treatment classrooms in Hamilton on September 1, 2024.
LCC is committed to working with children, youth, and families to better understand, improve, and build on LCC-s services and Hamilton-s child and youth mental health system. Meaningful engagement means two-way communication, working together as allies and sharing in decisions that are made.
At LCC, we provide evidence-based mental health care that integrates scientific research, clinical expertise, and the unique needs and preferences of each child or youth.
