Description:
The Town of Comox Parks Department is seeking quotations from qualified vendors for the supply and delivery of a Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) Electric Truck suitable for municipal parks operations. The vehicle will be used for year-round maintenance and must be capable of handling light-duty tasks, including trail and parks maintenance, as well as winter sidewalk clearing. Vehicle Requirements Quotations must include a vehicle that meets or exceeds the following minimum specifications: Dump Box: Hydraulic lift system Minimum 1,500 lbs. capacity Stake pockets with tie-down frame Cab Structure: Fully enclosed aluminum cab Weather-resistant design suitable for year-round outdoor use Headache rack Battery System: Long-range lithium-ion battery Must support daily operational range suitable for parks maintenance Steering and Operation: Power steering Ergonomic operator controls Plow Attachment: Front-mounted, hydraulic V-plow suitable for winter sidewalk clearing Removable or retractable as needed Lighting and Safety: Amber strobe light for visibility during operations Delivery and Documentation Delivery must be F.O.B.
