Description:
The City of Ottawa through Legal Services is seeking proposal submissions from qualified insurance brokerage firms, consortiums, or reciprocals, whereupon the Successful Proponent will be appointed the City's Broker of Record to represent the City in the insurance marketplace and will provide professional insurance and risk management services as detailed in the Terms of Reference attached as Annex A.The Successful Proponent must approach insurance markets, including the incumbent insurers, to provide a comprehensive municipal insurance program to the City at the most reasonable cost. The City will only consider responses from Proponents licensed to transact business in the Province of Ontario.The Procurement of goods and/or services specified in this bid document may be subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and/or the Ontario-Quebec Procurement Agreement (OQPA).All information submitted in response to this RFP is subject to the provisions of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
