- SUMMARY:
Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the District of Lake Country (the “District”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing works as part of the Lodge Road Improvements project. The Lodge Road Improvements project aims to improve road, pedestrian, cycling and stormwater infrastructure along the Lodge Road corridor in Lake Country, commencing from the intersection with Woodsdale Road and including nearby sections of the Okanagan Rail Trail. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following infrastructure improvements:
•Concrete curb and gutter works.
•Earthworks, including; roadway widening along Lodge Road, and subgrade preparation along sections of Lodge Road and the Rail Trail.
•Installation of stormwater infrastructure, plus water and sewer.
•Asphalt removal and reclamation.
•Asphalt paving plus granular base and sub-base, along sections of Lodge Road and the Rail Trail.
•Supply and installation of RRFB crosswalk signals.
Location: The Place of the Work is sections of Lodge Road and the nearby Okanagan Rail Trail in Lake Country, BC, as shown on the Contract Drawings.
Contract Time: The following are key milestone date requirements/restrictions for the Work:
•The Work may commence anytime after: March 2, 2025.
•Any portions of the Work that occur on the Okanagan Rail Trail must only occur either; i) prior to May 15, 2025, or ii) after September 6, 2025... - Documents:
