The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, Extension Support and Services Branch, 1767 Angus Campbell Road Abbotsford BC, is intending to direct award a shared cost arrangement contract to OII Ownership Identification Inc. for the following proposed work/service:
- Emergency response trailers for the use in livestock emergencies in B.C. These emergencies could include both animal transportation accidents, wildfires, and floods. One trailer will be located in the East Kootenays and the other in the Lower Mainland and will be able to be deployed as needed across B.C. These trailers have been in the planning phase for 2 years and immediate completion and deployment will benefit future emergencies.
- This work requires the acquisition of the following:
o Two 20' cargo trailers
o Animal handling and containment supplies
o Personal Protective Equipment
o Roadside Safety Supplies
o Other Tools and equipment
o Appropriate insurance for the trailers
- Development of a training plan for staff
- Development of liability plan and associated documents for volunteers
The proposed work/service is to be carried out by OII Ownership Identification Inc. at a contract price of no more than $67,661.00.b...
