- Ornge Base Hospital requires a number of LifeCast Mannequins including Pre-Term Baby, Full Term Baby, Toddler, Child, Adult and Geriatric models for Ornge paramedic education. The Ornge Base Hospital has determined that mannequins with the attributes described below in the Mandatory Requirements will be best suited to the Ornge education program.To the best of our knowledge, Echo Healthcare is the only source for the mannequins as described in the Mandatory Requirements below. Ornge intends to enter into negotiations with Echo Healthcare for an initial three year agreement with the option to extend for two additional terms of one year each. This is an Advanced Contact Award Notice (ACAN) with the intention to: notify the vendor community that we believe there is only one source for goods/services described herein; notify the vendor community that we plan to enter into contract with said source for these goods/services; and allow for other vendors to submit notice that they also offer such goods/services.
