(MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the Life Raft Building Roof Replacement in Port aux Basques, NL.The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal site in Port aux Basques, Newfoundland.The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, the roof replacement for the Life Raft Building. More particularly the work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work. Remove existing standing seam panel roof, as shown on drawings. Remove existing rainwater leaders (RWL), as shown on drawings. Existing abandoned chimney to be removed in its entirety, as shown on drawings. Existing metal ridge cap, eaves flashing and eavestroughs to be removed, as shown in drawings. Supply and install new standing seam panel roof, as shown on drawings. Supply and install new rainwater leaders (RWL), as shown on drawings. Supply and install new metal ridge cap, eaves flashing and eavestroughs, as shown on drawings. Existing chimney to be removed and re-instated to existing conditions.
