Description : Marine Atlantic Inc. Request for Quotations #305-148-020 Leif Ericson Lifeboat Markings and Gelcoat Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Suppliers to refinish the markings and gelcoat surfaces on four (4) totally enclosed self-righting lifeboats on the MV Leif Ericson. The Lifeboats will be removed from the vessel dockside in North Sydney, Nova Scotia in preparation for the work to begin the first week of December. The project will consist of cleaning the lifeboat surfaces, removing all decals, names, and numbers, sanding and repairing scratches, fiberglass and fill cracks and holes, and refinishing the surfaces with international safety orange gelcoat. Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept quotations in whole or in part. The lowest or any quotation will not necessarily be accepted. The closing for receipt of quotations will be 1400 hrs Atlantic Time, December 4, 2020. A site visit is recommended, but not a mandatory requirement for submitting a quotation. A site visit can be scheduled on November 25th or 26th only and must be arranged with the site visit coordinator identified in the RFQ document.
