Description:
This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The City of Thorold-s to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Lawrence Drive Watermain Detailed Design Between Sullivan Avenue and Collier Street North in the City of Thorold, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The city is inviting proposals from qualified engineering consultants (Consultant) to submit proposal for the Lawrence Drive Watermain Detail Design Between Sullivan Avenue and Collier Street North in the City of Thorold. Currently, Lawrence Drive Road consists of a 150mm diameter cast iron watermain. The city intends to install a new 150mm diameter PVC watermain from Sullivan Avenue to Collier Road N. The new watermain will be connected to the existing watermains at Sullivan and Collier Road N. By installing the new watermain, the city-s aim is to provide new water infrastructure (a replacement PVC watermain) along the Lawrence Drive to service the surrounding areas and to provide an uninterrupted water supply to Thorold residents.
