Overview of the Work/Service Required
Overview
(a) The objective of this project is to reduce wildfire surface fuels on crown land adjacent to the Lake of the Trees Children's camp. This treatment area is approx. 12.8 ha.
(b) Contractor shall be required to enter into and follow a Forest Licence to Cut (FLTC) appendix G for the timber. Estimated volume is 1752 m3 see Appendix C cruise compilation for volume breakdown.
(c) Contract shall be required to enter into a Road Use Agreement with the Ministry (see appendix D) and enter into a Shared Road Use Maintenance agreement with West Fraser.
(d) There are powerlines near the treatment areas. A BC Hydro representative must conduct a site prework PRIOR to any work starting and a Certified Utility Arborist (approved by BC Hydro) must be onsite while treating along the power lines.
